Rivero, Gordimer & Company Celebrates National College Colors Day

National College Colors Day is an annual celebration of collegiate athletics and school spirit for one’s favorite college or university. This year, National College Colors Day is observed on September 1st.

Thousands of organizations and millions of people across the country take part in this fun and empowering tradition.

How to Participate in National College Colors Day?

It’s simple, to participate one needs to wear their favorite university or school’s colors. This could be in the form of a jersey, regular t-shirt, polo, dress, or any other type of wardrobe that identifies with that university’s school colors.

To help spread the word, people are also asked to share photos wearing their favorite college’s colors using the hashtag #CollegeColorsDay.

Rivero, Gordimer & Company’s National College Colors Day

Rivero, Gordimer & Company has decided to observe National College Colors Day in collaboration with our “Jeans Friday” tradition. Our staff, administration, and partners are all permitted to wear their favorite university’s colors and jeans into work Friday, September 1, 2017.

To participate, we are asking our team to contribute a small donation to help support the families impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Thousands of people have lost their homes, belongings, and loved ones because of the devastating hurricane, so every dollar helps.

We collected donations and sent all proceeds to help the Hurricane Harvey Relief through the JJ Watt Foundation. The JJ Watt Foundation raised more than $3.3 million to support the Houston families impacted by the hurricane and we are proud to be a part of that team!

From the Tampa CPA Firm of Rivero, Gordimer & Company, we wish you all a happy National College Colors Day!

Our prayers and wishes also go out to those families affected by Hurricane Harvey.
