The COO will provide leadership and strategic vision to the Firm. They will bring operational, managerial, and administrative procedures, reporting structures, and operational controls to the firm. A successful COO needs to be able to work with a variety of personalities and work styles.
Participates in all phases of an audit, performing a large amount of technical work. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 0-2 years of experience required; CPA license preferred.
Participates in tax planning and tax return preparation for individuals and businesses of all types including intangibles, 1040s, 1065s, and 1120s. All positions gain exposure to a variety. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1-5 years of experience a plus; CPA license preferred.
Experienced tax associates with at least 2 years experience preferred. CPA license or on track to obtain a CPA license is a must.
Successful candidates will be able to multi-task, demonstrate accounting and auditing knowledge, have professional communication skills and be able to think independently and problem-solve in our team oriented environment.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Five years of CPA firm experience, software proficiency with Thomson Reuters Accounting CS, QuickBooks Online & Desktop, Microsoft Excel, payroll and sales tax return preparation. Accounting degree preferred.
