Rivero, Gordimer & Company’s Sam Lazzara Named NonProfit CPA’s Member of the Year

Rivero, Gordimer & Company (RGCO), CPAs and Advisors, is pleased to announce that shareholder Sam A. Lazzara has been named Nonprofit CPA’s Member of the Year by The Rainmaker Companies, an organization dedicated to supporting the growth of hundreds of accounting firms in the United States. Lazzara was the recipient of this award because of his constant source of value to other members, engagement in group activities, and contributions to the success of the alliance through thought leadership, collaboration, and the sharing of resources and best practices.  

The award was presented to Lazzara on June 19 at the 2019 Rainmaker SuperConference, an annual conference that delivers education and networking for the leadership of Rainmaker’s accounting firm clients. “I am very honored to receive this award on behalf of our entire firm,” said Lazzara. “Our membership has given us the opportunity to collaborate with other nonprofit CPAs throughout the country and share best practices to better serve our clients.” 

Lazzara has practiced public accounting in the Tampa Bay area since 1986 and serves as the shareholder in charge of many of the firm’s nonprofit and governmental clients.
