Since joining the firm in 1995, Stephen G. Douglas has been a cornerstone of Rivero, Gordimer & Company, P.A. Over nearly three decades, Stephen has played a pivotal role in the firm’s evolution from a small 17-person team to a leading name in Tampa’s business community. His professional journey reflects a deep commitment to audit quality, client success, and community engagement.

Stephen’s extensive experience spans auditing commercial, governmental, and not-for-profit organizations, with deep knowledge of construction, engineering, manufacturing, and healthcare. He brings particular expertise to Federal and State Single Audits and serves as the firm’s employee benefit plan audit practice. As the Designated Audit Quality Partner for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Government Audit Quality Center and Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, Stephen ensures that the highest quality assurance standards are met.

Beyond his professional contributions, Stephen is a dedicated community leader. He serves on the boards of the Economic Club of Tampa, the USF College of Business School of Accountancy, and the Finance Council at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Through these roles, Stephen applies his financial acumen to support initiatives that foster economic growth, educational advancement, and sustainability for local organizations.

Stephen is a proud Tampa native and University of South Florida alumnus. He is a Life Member of the USF Alumni Association and a supporter of USF Athletics.
