January 15, 2020 – Tampa, FL. Rivero, Gordimer & Company (RGCO), CPAs and Advisors, is pleased to announce the promotion of David M. Bohnsack, CPA, to Shareholder. David is the 10th Shareholder of the firm, which was established in 1983 and is the largest accounting firm headquartered in the Tampa Bay area. He joins other Shareholders Herman V. Lazzara (Managing Partner), Marc D. Sasser, Sam A. Lazzara, Stephen G. Douglas, Michael E. Helton, Christopher Terrigino, Kevin R. Bass, Jonathan E. Stein, and James K. O’Connor.
David has been with RGCO since 2006 as part of the tax team. His areas of concentration include tax preparation, planning and consultation for closely-held businesses, QuickBooks Pro accounting system consulting, sales tax resolution issues, representation of clients before the IRS, and other services. He has experience in the medical, rent-to-own, and architecture/development industries and has extensive background and experience in various tax-related topics including income and estate tax and retirement planning. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA); and the University of Tampa’s Board of Counselors. He is a graduate of the Tampa Connection and earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tampa.
