CESAR J. RIVERO - SHAREHOLDER
Cesar J. Rivero has practiced public accounting for over 35 years in the west coast of Florida. Prior to establishing the firm of Rivero, Gordimer & Company. Mr. Rivero was the partner-in-charge of the Tampa office of the seventh largest international accounting firm in the United States. He heads the audit and consulting department of Rivero, Gordimer & Company, P.A.
RICHARD GORDIMER - SHAREHOLDER
Richard Gordimer is the shareholder-in-charge of the tax department in the firm of Rivero, Gordimer & Company, P.A. He has practiced public accounting for over 35 years and is well versed in all facets of income tax, including closely held businesses, personal income tax, pension plans, corporate tax, reorganizations, partnerships and international tax. He works extensively and lectures in the areas of estate and gift tax planning. He has previously been the tax partner-in-charge in major offices of two of the largest international public accounting firms in the United States.
MARC D. SASSER - SHAREHOLDER
Marc D. Sasser has twenty years of experience in both personal and corporate income tax preparation and planning. He represents business entities in the construction, manufacturing, real estate and medical industries. His personal financial planning activities entail strategies for retirement and education needs through investment as well as insurance and tax analysis. Prior to joining Rivero, Gordimer & Company, P.A. in 1989, Mr. Sasser spent several years in the tax department of the sixth largest international accounting firms in the United States.
HERMAN V. LAZZARA - SHAREHOLDER
Herman V. Lazzara has practiced public accounting since 1980. Prior to joining Rivero, Gordimer & Company, P.A. in 1984, Mr. Lazzara spent four years with the seventh largest international accounting firm in the United States. During his years in public accounting, he has served a variety of clients including health care, governmental, not-for-profit organizations and commercial enterprises. Mr. Lazzara is currently responsible for the firm's accounting and audit services for the construction industry.
SAM A. LAZZARA - SHAREHOLDER
Sam A. Lazzara has practiced public accounting in the Tampa Bay area since 1986. Prior to joining Rivero, Gordimer & Company, P.A. in 1989, he spent three years with one of the largest international accounting firms. Mr. Lazzara has an extensive background in accounting and auditing of not-for-profit and governmental organizations. He serves as the audit administrator for most of the Firm's not-for-profit audit clients.
STEPHEN G. DOUGLAS - SHAREHOLDER
Stephen G. Douglas joined Rivero, Gordimer & Company, P.A. in 1995 and has considerable experience in auditing a variety of commercial, governmental and not-for-profit organizations. His commercial experience includes construction, engineering, manufacturing and health care.
MICHAEL E. HELTON - SHAREHOLDER
Michael E. Helton served as a tax consultant with a Florida regional firm and a local firm in Ashland, Kentucky, before joining Rivero, Gordimer & Company, P.A. in 1999. His areas of concentration include tax preparation, planning and consultation for individuals, businesses, estates and trusts, including estate planning and administration, valuation of closely held businesses, and other tax related topics. Mr. Helton also practices in business owner succession planning, divorce and dissenting shareholder disputes, general financial and operational consulting, QuickBooks Pro accounting systems consulting and representation of clients before the Internal Revenue Service.
RENE J. ZARATE - MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
Rene J. Zarate has practiced public accounting in the Tampa Bay area since 1980. Prior to joining Rivero, Gordimer & Co. P.A., he spent three years with the seventh largest international accounting firm in the United States. In 1989, Mr. Zarate assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer of a closely held healthcare company. He maintained that position until he engineered the sale of the company to a national health care organization, and managed the subsequent transition. Mr. Zarate was responsible for negotiating and documenting the terms of the acquisition, working closely with and directing counsel. He was also solely responsible for dealing with the buyer's lawyers and CPAs while performing their due diligence. Based on this experience, Mr. Zarate was named a member of the Buyer’s Future Acquisition Team on several subsequent investments. In 1999, he resumed his position in the area of Health Care and Litigation Support with the Consulting Services Division of Rivero, Gordimer & Co., P.A.
